The game here (a Serious Game) is to visually
challenge the Dragon of Mental Certitudes, provoke the Spell of Comfortable
Bliss, casually insult the Wizard of Deep Fears, and Expose the Impostor behind
Universal Truths. An action painting of Ideas made visible. And live to tell
the story of course.
I don’t paint because
I have something to say, I say something that can best be put into Painting. My playing
ground is this given rectangular surface-territory.
Radu Tuian's exhibition Amalgamated, at Espace Icare, Issy-lest-Moulineux in France, on view through May 10th, 2013.
